Redesigning Culver Square

My plan is to redesign Culver square's fountain. My aim is to makes the area in culver square feel more modern and desirable as i feel this would bring back the movement and energy in the atmosphere. I have looked at a various  range of modern fountains and water jets.

This is a modern water fountain in Tokyo. I love the appearance of this water fountain as it looks like the huge giant blocks are being propelled  by the water jets. This type of design would really make an impact in Culver square.  However judging by the photo. this type of fountain would need alot of space as the splash back from the jets could  get everything wet.

This type of water fountain would create a very interesting approach as the design is very unusual. i like the way how the water runs out of the lose ends of the pipes. This design could be very useful as it could be scaled down a made into a smaller version for Culver square. another idea with this design is that it could be attached from the surrounding buildings which then run off in the middle of Culver square.

This water fountain design is fantastic for its visual approach. i love the way how you can see the water vortex which somehow creatures a very interesting water sculpture.  however im not sure if this  design would be ideal for a public area as it seems very fragile and is likely to get damaged.

This design looks interesting and interactive. i feel this design has potential as it can be  used as a sculpture as well as a fountain. i feel this design really interacts which the atmosphere.
